Books foster creativity, eradicate illiteracy and inspire generations.

One of the greatest universal challenges we face in contemporary times is the divide in education between the developed and underdeveloped worlds. Africa is one of such countries that face some of these challenges. Two-thirds of African children living in poverty either have no books at home or have never held books in their hands. 

Root For Books is a non-profit organization that seeks to supply books to elementary and middle schools in Africa to promote literacy. We strive to bridge the gap in education by providing books to schools and programs that are in dire need. Our ultimate goal is to provide all forms of educational resources in the near future.

We also seek to partner with other like-minded personnel and organizations that can help facilitate our mission to narrow the educational divide in communities of need in Africa. 

Founded in 2020, Root For Books is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.
